Clear Heads, Clear Consent.
If you need to be drunk to do it. DON’T do it!

At PolySoCal, we prioritize grounded connection, emotional presence, and full-bodied consent. That’s only possible when we’re clear-headed, self-aware, and able to make intentional choices.
Alcohol Use:
- Light & Respectful Use Only: If alcohol is present at an event, it is meant for light, social enjoyment—not for altering judgment, lowering inhibitions, or fueling escapism.
- Know Your Limits: Everyone is expected to manage their own consumption and remain fully capable of giving and receiving consent. If you become impaired, you’re expected to pause any flirtation, play, or emotionally charged interaction.
- Hosts Have Final Say: If a host feels someone’s behavior is compromised due to alcohol—even mildly—they may be asked to step back or leave for the safety of the group.
Drug Use:
- No Drugs. Period. This includes recreational, prescription-abused, or “party-enhancing” substances. PolySoCal is a drug-free space.
- Even Subtle Use Disrupts Trust: Presence matters. Altered states—however subtle—can impact energy, consent, and group safety. We’re here to connect, not escape.
Why This Matters:
Consent requires clarity. Emotional presence requires sobriety. We create rare spaces where trust, vulnerability, and genuine intimacy can emerge—and that means leaving numbing or altering substances at the door.
Violation of this policy may lead to removal from the event and community review. Your awareness, moderation, and mutual respect make this space possible.
