Be Present. Be Private. Be Trusted.
IF YOU ARE SEEN WITH A PHONE YOU WILL BE ASKED TO PUT IT AWAY

PolySoCal is a sanctuary of presence, trust, and discretion. To preserve that atmosphere, we maintain a strict no-device, no-recording policy during all events.

Our Expectations:

  • Phones Off or Put Away: Upon arrival at any event, phones should be silenced and stored away unless otherwise directed by hosts for logistical use. Presence is part of the experience.
  • No Photos or Recordings: Absolutely no photography, video recording, or audio capture is allowed at any time—regardless of intent or setting.
  • No Note-Taking Without Consent: Journaling, note-taking, or voice memos during or about events may only be done with explicit written consent from all individuals involved.

Why This Matters:

  • We prioritize presence over documentation. These moments are meant to be felt, not captured.
  • We protect discretion over curiosity. Even casual or accidental sharing can damage trust.
  • We uphold privacy as a shared value. Our members show up fully because they know they are safe to do so.

Violations of this policy may result in being asked to leave the event, and could impact future participation. Thank you for helping preserve the rare space we’ve built—one based on connection, not documentation.
