Carefully Held. Quietly Addressed. Always Taken Seriously.

At PolySoCal, we know that even in the most intentional communities, misunderstandings, crossed boundaries, or discomfort can happen. What matters most is how we handle them—with care, clarity, and compassion.

We are committed to creating a culture where concerns can be safely voiced and violations are responded to with fairness and integrity.

How to Raise a Concern:

  • Confidential & Private: If something doesn’t feel right, you can reach out confidentially to a host or designated community contact. Your concerns will be held with discretion and never shared beyond what’s needed to support resolution.
  • No Formal Complaint Needed: You don’t need “proof” or a perfect narrative. If you feel uneasy, disrespected, or harmed in any way, we want to hear from you. You matter.
  • Direct or Anonymous: Reports may be made in person, via email, or through a private feedback form (to be made available via member portal). You can choose to be named or remain anonymous.

How We Respond:

  • Case-by-Case Care: We don’t use blanket rules—we respond thoughtfully, depending on the nature and impact of the concern.
  • Gentle Mediation First, When Appropriate: If the issue can be resolved through a respectful conversation, we’ll support that. Not all misunderstandings are violations—but all are worth holding with care.
  • Clear Boundaries When Needed: If someone has violated consent, group safety, or community trust, we will act swiftly and fairly. That may include pausing their participation, limiting access, or removal from the community.

Our Values in Practice:

  • We center safety over comfort, truth over avoidance, and growth over perfection.
  • Speaking up is not drama—it’s responsibility. Listening is not punishment—it’s community care.

This is a brave space. Let’s keep it that way—together.
