Policies and Rules – PolySoCal

At PolySoCal, our policies and guidelines exist not to police behavior, but to protect the rare, sacred space we’re creating together. We are unwavering in our commitment to providing a safe, healthy environment where couples and polycules can deepen connection, explore new edges, and grow in love—with clarity, care, and mutual respect. Our “rules” are best understood as guiding principles—guardrails, not gates. They help us uphold trust, ensure consent, and nurture emotional and physical safety. And while we enforce them with intention, we also recognize that human relationships are complex. Every situation deserves to be met with both discernment and compassion. These policies are here to support your journey—not restrict it.

Membership in PolySoCal is a privilege, not a right. Participation in our community is extended by invitation and maintained through mutual trust, personal responsibility, and adherence to our shared values. These guidelines are upheld by our senior staff and hosting team to ensure the safety and integrity of every event. Violations of these policies may result in immediate removal from any gathering, suspension or permanent restriction from future events, and—in cases involving harassment, assault, or other serious breaches—referral to local law enforcement for further action. We take these matters seriously because the emotional, physical, and relational safety of our members is non-negotiable.
